| Avg Columns | Show the calculated average for the respective area |

Depending on the configured grading system, you can enter the following values:

Missing Grades
If a pupil did not participate in an exam (e.g., due to illness), leave the cell empty or enter an appropriate note. Empty cells are not included in the average calculation.
Make sure to document missing grades correctly. Depending on school regulations, missing assessments may be handled differently.
Automatic Calculation
After entering grades, the averages are automatically calculated:
| Calculation | Description |
|---|---|
| Avg (Average) | Weighted average of all grades in the area |
| Final Grade 1st Sem | Average for the first semester |
| Final Grade Full Year | Average for the entire school year |
The weighting of individual grades is set when creating the exam and is factored into the average calculation.
For more information on final grades, see Final Grades.
