Negative List
General
The negative list is an important tool to ensure that all legal guardians of your pupils can actually be reached with important information.
It shows you all pupils whose parents do not have an edjufy account and therefore cannot receive emails via the system.
Accessing the Negative List
To view the negative list of a parent letter:
- Open the detail view of a sent parent letter
- Click on the Negative List tab
Structure of the Negative List
The negative list is grouped by grade levels. For each grade level, you can see:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Grade Level | The affected grade level |
| Sent | Traffic light status (always red, as sending is not possible) |
| Received | Traffic light status (always red) |
| Read | Traffic light status (always red) |
| Responded | Traffic light status (always red) |
Click on a grade level to see the individual affected pupils.
Download Negative List
With the Download Negative List button, you can download the list of all affected pupils as a file. You can then use this list to:
- Contact the affected legal guardians by other means
- Inform the school administration about missing edjufy accounts
- Track which families have not yet received login credentials
Use the downloaded negative list to ensure that important information also reaches legal guardians without an edjufy account (e.g., by post or telephone).
Why Do Pupils Appear on the Negative List?
Pupils can appear on the negative list for various reasons:
- No email address registered: The legal guardians have no email address in the system
- No edjufy account: The legal guardians have not yet registered with edjufy
- Deactivated account: The legal guardians' account has been deactivated
Recommendations
If the negative list contains many entries, we recommend contacting the school administration to add the missing accounts or invite the affected legal guardians to register.
