Lesson Log
Introduction
The lesson log settings allow you to configure various functions of the digital lesson log. Here you can configure settings for TeamTeaching, lesson log locking, and the sharing of lesson log and timetable content with legal guardians and pupils.
This settings page is only visible when the Lesson Log module is enabled for your school.
Overview
The lesson log settings are divided into three areas:
- General: Basic settings for the lesson log
- Lesson Log Lock: Settings for locking the lesson log
- Lesson Log / Timetable Sharing: Settings for sharing content with legal guardians and pupils
Edit Settings
To edit the lesson log settings, proceed as follows:
- Navigate to Settings → Lesson Log.
- Click the Edit button in the top right corner.
- Make the desired changes.
- Click Save when finished.
General
This section contains basic settings for the lesson log.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| TeamTeaching | Enables or disables the TeamTeaching function. When TeamTeaching is enabled, multiple teachers can jointly manage a lesson in the lesson log. |
| Automatically combine consecutive lessons | When enabled, consecutive lessons of the same subject are automatically combined into one unit. |
| Highlight pupils under 18 years during attendance check? | When enabled, underage pupils are visually highlighted during the attendance check. |
Lesson Log Lock
In this section, you can configure the lock function for the lesson log.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Lesson log lock enabled? | Enables or disables the ability to lock the lesson log. When locking is enabled, lesson log entries can no longer be edited after a certain period. |
Lesson Log / Timetable Sharing
In this section, you configure which content is shared with legal guardians and pupils.
Shared Content
Select which content should generally be shared:

|---|---|
| Sharing disabled | No content is shared. |
| Lesson log only | Only lesson log content is shared. |
| Timetable only | Only the timetable is shared. |
| Lesson log and timetable | Both lesson log and timetable are shared. |
Sharing Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Share with legal guardians? | Enables or disables sharing of content with legal guardians. |
| Share with pupils? | Enables or disables sharing of content with pupils. |
| Share homework? | When enabled, homework is visible to the shared user groups. |
| Share lesson content? | When enabled, lesson content is visible to the shared user groups. |
The settings for homework and lesson content are only relevant when sharing is enabled and at least one user group (legal guardians or pupils) is selected for sharing.
