General Settings
Introduction
The general settings include basic information about your school, the contact person for edjufy, and the school address. Here you also configure system-wide settings for email delivery and pupil logins.
Overview
The general settings are divided into three areas:
- General: School information, logo, language and email settings
- Contact Person: Contact person for edjufy
- School Address: Address details of the school
Edit Settings
To edit the general settings, proceed as follows:
- Navigate to Settings → General.
- Click the Edit button in the top right corner.
- Make the desired changes.
- Click Save when finished.
General
This section contains the basic information about your school as well as system-wide email and login settings.
School Information
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| School Name | The official name of your school. This field is required. |
| Slogan / Claim | An optional slogan or claim for your school. |
| School Number | The official school number of your institution. |
| Logo | Your school's logo. JPG and PNG files up to 5 megabytes in size are allowed. |
| edjufy School ID | The school ID assigned by edjufy. This field is read-only. |
Language and System Settings
| Field | Description |

| Default Language | The default language for the user interface. |
| Current School Year | The currently active school year. This field can only be changed through the school year transition process. |
The current school year cannot be changed directly in the settings. The transition is done through the school year change process in System Administration.
Email Settings
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Reply Email Address | The email address to which replies to emails sent by edjufy will be directed. This field is required. |
| Email Content Type | Determines how email content is formatted. |
| Domain for Official Teacher Email | The domain used for official email addresses of teachers. |
Email Content Type Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Standard | Emails are sent in standard format. |
| More Privacy | Emails are sent with enhanced privacy settings. |
Pupil Login
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Pupil Login Restriction | Determines which pupils can log in to edjufy. |
Pupil Login Restriction Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| All Pupils with Account | All pupils who have an edjufy account can log in. |
| Only Pupils over 18 with Account | Only adult pupils with an edjufy account can log in. |
Changing the pupil login restriction takes effect immediately for all pupils. Make sure this setting complies with your school's data protection policies.
Contact Person
In this section, you enter the contact details of the person who serves as the contact for edjufy.

| Salutation | The salutation of the contact person. Choose between "Mr.", "Ms." or "Diverse". This field is required. |
| Title | An optional academic title (e.g., "Dr."). |
| First Name | The first name of the contact person. This field is required. |
| Last Name | The last name of the contact person. This field is required. |
| The email address of the contact person. | |
| Contact Language | The preferred language for communication with edjufy support. |
School Address
Here you enter the complete address of your school.

| State | The state in which the school is located. |
